Registration / Transfer Requests for September 2024 Intake
The registration/transfer request process for The Wheelhouse Program opens on the SD42 Parent Portal at noon, Wednesday, February 14, 2023.
- IN-DISTRICT STUDENTS
To request that your child be transferred to the Wheelhouse program for Grade 6 or 7, sign into your Parent Portal account shortly before registration opens, and click on the Registration tab in the main menu. Select the New Requests tab, click on the Wheelhouse Registration 2024/25 – Alouette Elementary hyperlink, and follow the instructions that appear. - OUT-OF-DISTRICT STUDENTS
To register your out-of-district child in The Wheelhouse program for Grade 6 or 7, you will first need* to open an account on the Parent Portal. Sign into your new Parent Portal account shortly before registration opens, and navigate to the registration page by clicking on the Registration main menu item. Select the New Requests tab, click on the Wheelhouse Program Registration 2024/25 – Alouette Elementary hyperlink, and follow the instructions that appear. (If you run into any technical issues, please contact the IT HelpDesk at 604.466.6248.)- *NOTE: It is recommended that you sign up for your new account on the Parent Portal in advance of February 14.
Timestamp
All registrations are date and time-stamped once you start the registration form. You will need to ensure all sections are accurate. If you are registering more than one child, a registration form for each child must be completed.
Confirmation Email
Once you submit your registration form, you will receive a confirmation email that your application has been received. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours (check your junk/spam folders), please contact the IT Services Help Desk at 604-466-6248.
Confirmation of Acceptance
Ms. Cornell will contact you directly to advise you of the status of your application/enrolment request. Once your child’s enrolment in the program is confirmed, their space will be released from their current school and your child will attend Alouette Elementary as part of The Wheelhouse beginning September 2024.
Waitlist
There are a limited number of Wheelhouse spaces at Alouette Elementary. Once all registration spaces are filled, applicants are placed on a waitlist in time stamp order.
