INTERESTED IN BEING A STUDENT IN THE WHEELHOUSE PROGRAM?

The Wheelhouse is a unique program, and it is important for your entire family to consider the choice carefully. It is very helpful to learn as much as you can about the program and the nature of the learning environment.

September 2024 Intake Process

The intake process is designed to help you get a better feel for the program in order to decide how well The Wheelhouse will suit YOU.

1. Participate in an Information Session
   • Zoom information sessions:
     • Session #1: Thursday, January 25 @ 7:00 PM – register for session (required)
     • Session #2: Monday, January 29 @ 7:00 PM – register for session (required)
2. Download and complete an Intake Package
   • Packages will also be available in the office at Alouette Elementary
3. Participate in Face-to-Face interview
   • Students and their parent(s) attend the interview
   • Please bring the completed Intake Package to the interview
   • Sign-up online to request an interview on one of these dates: 
     • Thursday, February 1- between 3:30 and 5:30 PM – register online to request interview
     • Friday, February 2- between 3:00 and 4:30 PM – register online to request interview
     • Monday, February 5- between 3:00 and 5:00 – register online to request interview
   • Note: The interviews are designed to give all parties the chance to further discuss the program and the “fit”. The interview is a chance to learn more about the program to help with the decision about whether or not The Wheelhouse is a good place for you.
